Golden Isles Swim Team "Learn to Swim and Prep Team Programs"

In keeping with the mission of the Golden Isles Swim Team "to provide a competitive swim team environment that teaches and trains swimmer athletes of all ages and at all levels of swimming; emphasizes strength of character, team unity and family participation; and helps the individual swimmer reach their fullest potential in and out of the water," Golden Isles Swimming, Inc. now offers a competitive swim lessons program for children aged three and up through a "Learn to Swim" and Prep-Team Program. Coaches Joan Cordle, April Royal, and Jessica Graff, all USA Swimming certified swim coaches, serve as coaches/instructors. The classes follow the American Red Cross six level curriculum for "Learn to Swim" programs.

WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO CALL AHEAD AND SCHEDULE A SWIM TEST WITH AN INSTRUCTOR AT THE POOL. THIS WILL HELP DETERMINE GROUP PLACEMENT AND SCHEDULE FOR YOUR CHILD.

We encourage families to bring their swimmer to the pool at the Brunswick Aquatic Center at Howard Coffin Park Monday thru Thursday afternoons prepared with a bathing suit, towel, and goggles to be evaluated by one of our coaches for placement in the correct group.
