The Golden Isles Swim Team

The mission of the Golden Isles Swim Team is to provide a competitive swim team environment that teaches and trains swimmer athletes of all ages and at all levels of swimming; emphasizes strength of character, team unity and family participation; and helps the individual swimmer reach their fullest potential in and out of the water.

To accomplish this mission, we offer a "Learn to Swim" and a pre-competitive prep-team program following the American Red Cross swim lesson curriculum, a year-round USA Swimming registered competitive swim team, and a US Masters swim team for any swimmers 18 and over looking for fitness, triathlon training, or competition.

ALL of our coaches have YEARS of experience and are certified by USA SWIMMING.

***TRYOUTS ARE OFFERED DAILY. STOP BY THE POOL Monday thru Thursday afternoons at 3:30pm with a suit, goggles, and a towel AND ASK TO BE EVALUATED BY A COACH!!! It is best to call ahead (912) 996-2069. Our coaches will make recommendations for group placement or lessons. You may practice with the swim team for a week free of charge to try it out!

Swim Fee Schedule:

"Learn to Swim" Program: $25 yearly registration fee AND $50 / session. Each session is eight (45) minute lessons.

Prep Team: $100 yearly registration fee (covers mandatory USA Swimming registration fee and team t-shirt) AND $50 / Month

Golden Isles Swim Team Groups:

o $100 yearly registration fee (covers mandatory USA Swimming registration fee and team t-shirt) AND

Senior: $125 / Month Gold: $115 / Month

Silver: $100 / Month Bronze: $90 / Month

Masters: $45 / Month (MUST also be registered with USA Masters at USMS.org)

The Golden Isles Swim Team is a not-for-profit corporation started in 2010 by a group of parents and swimmers dedicated to providing a swim program for the community which promotes a positive, year round competitive swimming environment.  The focus of the team is to provide practice and competitive swimming opportunities to swimmers of all ages and at all ability levels.  The team is parent owned and board run and practices at the Brunswick Aquatic Center at Howard Coffin Park.
